Song for Singapore

What I salute is not the flag itself but the spirit of what all Singaporeans are fighting for: the five stars, the blood red and the white purity.
Where is the justice, equality, progress and democracy?
Don't talk about that unity when these rest of the four are neglected.
The white is turning yellowish and people are not taking a closer look; is it really that white? Or are we deceiving ourselves?
At least we still have brotherhood; Singaporeans who are born here and aboard, who still recognised this land as home (not some foreigner who only wants more money for themselves).
Its takes more than just economic contribution to be a citizen of this land.
It takes more than just living in Singapore. Its about when something is wrong and happening down here, will you stay and fight for it?
