Meeting Up with Old Friends!

Recently I've beeen trying to get almost every possible old friend I got out to meet!

Many attempts tried but failed, but its actually quite fun and exciting!

Like yesterday, I went to meet up with my old secondary school classmate Yee Wah, who's still the bubbly and cute person I know when I was in school.

Before we met up, she kept saying that she was like King Kong and said her photos on Friendster was taken ages ago! That made me kinda think what changes she got and what happened to her. But in the end, I didn't think much and just went ahead and meet her!

But in the end, she's still pretty much the same!

So we met up in town and went for dinner (actually, it was me having dinner only!). We also went for a long walk around the city's river and bay front interests from the Esplanades theatres and front, through the Queen Elizabeth Walk anf in the end to Boat Quay and beyond.

It was fun to meet her and talk to her like we never talked before (actually we really didn't talk much in our school days).

It was certainly cool to know her once again!

Oh Merry Christmas!

I had my wonderful Christmas celebration at Club MoMo last night.

At least finally I'm not alone this Christmas, though not with the closest ones.

But I didn't have my Carlsberg.

I had a Tiger.

Facing Failures...

I'm so busy recently that I hardly cyber nowadays. Busy with what I really can't tell till the time is right.

Failures is what I am facing most of the time. Its definitely I've already know how to prepare to face, but evn more, I hope I'll learn from it. Learning from failures something is something I always forgot or missing it out to do.

But chill, like all obstacles, I'll overcome even if I'm slow.

Tiring...

Recntly, I've been working hard on working smart. What I'm working on I can't really say until if I am approaching YOU my friends for that particular reason named HEALTH.

But I hope my friends would run away and I hope they'll support me a bit here and there instead.

I am tired especially for the last weekend just working on that.

But I better take care of my HEALTH first, before I could really take care of others.

What am I working on?

Sorry, I'll have to keep it discreet till I save you, then.

Just think that I am a working superhero, like my favourite superhero, Spiderman.

Oh, anyway, Peter Parker also attended ex-SISPEC ALSC section mate Eugene's wedding day dinner with wifey Ivy last Saturday. Manage to catch up with the other ex-SISPEC ALSC section mate peeps on his wedding day dinner.

It was certainly great to see our old soldier friend (who's famous for leading our Taiwan Crispy Chicken and Pearl Bubble Tea Section Movement Secret Mission) settling down.

My blessings to him and wifey again.

Hope they'll live happily ever after!

Alien Signals.

Recently, I've been receiving alien messages from the Iternet (from Friendster and MSN messenger)of all sorts.

Some were job invitations, some were gays (or potential ones) trying to look for fellow gays but found the wrong person to mess with and there's even one from foreign land asking me to find job for the latter.

The World of Internet Messaging. How weird indeed...

Jammed Packed Weekend!

I've been into a lot of activities the last weekend that basically I've almost did all of the outdoor activities I normally did outside my home!

Thursday. Swimming plus tanning with Dan!

I am trying not to given up teaching him how to swim...

Friday. Watch movie "Chicken Little" with Vel!

I had a great time laughing at my favourite Fish and Porcupine characters!

Saturday. Wakeboarding with Linda and friends!

I finally am able to control my wakeboard properly to go left and right, and also overcome the wake! But I still dislike the taste of Sungei Punggol though...

KA-WA-BHANG-GAH!

*SPLASH!* into the water and SMILE outta it!

Saturday early morning. Went for the Standard Chartered Marathon 2005 along with Chee Wee, Hong Yun and Junlong!

I clocked 2 hours and 45 minutes for the 21.1km distance.

Although I didn't break my previous record of 1 hour 59 minutes and 30 seconds for a 22km distance, I am still happy.

Why? Because I had cramps in all the different muscle groups in my legs; from thighs, to calves, to quartzs, to toes; for the last 6km, even when I'm walking, I still had cramps!

That's the trade-in for not training constantly for the half-marathon I guess...

During the run I felt her presence... And then... There she was, Zane! Running on the opposite lane (still behind me)! Her smile and "Hi" is the confirmation that it was she and that I am not shagging out.

What a coincidence though!

Another challenge overcame. Will go for another one.

After the marathon, I had a "great" time tanning under the great hot sun at the Padang while waiting to pick up my bag from the baggage counter. The baggage collection system is a total screw-up.

Saturday afternoon till late. Anyway after the marathon, we went back to take our showers and there after had mahjong at Ros' house to keep Ros company after her stomach surgery and also keep Huiyan's mahjong addiction some relieve...

I wish Ros well while she's at home for her long days on MC!
