EXERCISE!

With all that eating for the past week, its important to exercise. So Wendy and I woke early for a climb to exercise off our fats at Bukit Timah.

Its nice breathing fresh air and sweating it out.

Though been quite long since my last exercise, I'm still good in my stamina. And I'm glad Wendy is enjoying to sweat as well.

Dinner with Love

Wendy has grown jealous of my feastings and so I have to treat her something to appease her stomach =P

Nice view. Best view is on the right.

Mashimaro =P

=)

Had dinner at Coffee Club in The Central nearby Clarke Quay. Though its not a fancy restaurant, we still had some nice dishes.

Feasting Fiesta!

My working life in my department is very good. Especially when treating our colleagues coming from the overseas.

As far as I remember, every week, there's always a high-end good meal. Crab, prawns, noodles and fried rice seems to be a necessity.

Gotta watch what I eat. I'm getting fat!

Here are some of the places I visited so far:

IndoChine @ Asian Civilisation Museam; A Korean Restaurant @ Boat Quay

Swiss restaurant @ Swissotel Stamford

Peach Garden (Sichuan Cusine) @ OCBC Centre Top 33rd Floor

"Da Chilli Crab People"

Nope. Its not that I have join another facebook group. "Da Chilli Crab People"
are my new colleagues, of my new found job as a Product Designer at Bayer HealthCare, a German MNC.

~~~~~
Its been long since I blogged about my life, and here I am back again. For a re-start, on my new job.
For the past few months, nothing really is interesting except about my love life, which I kept it most a secret.
Thoese days without a job was frustrating and depressing financially. But I am lucky enough to have my Wendy by my side, keeping me alive and my other friends who helped me one way or the other. You know who you are, and I owe you all. The favour will be return, but now I need time to organise my life to the best I could make it again.
~~~~~

My new colleagues are friendly and they know themselevs, everyone plays a part. Blame game is a taboo in my department, which major in regional coordination of logistics, packaging and supplying countries in the Asia-Pacific. And "YA", some of my colleagues are Germans, which made me looked forward to October (Lol).

My job is important as well as critical in the future. As I'm part of a BIG web of complex supply chain management. I'm part of this working machine, where I'm a new gear spinning slowly for now (The chim-ology explained here that I'm lazy to explain the complexity).

Nether-the-less, I'm part of a team, the sense of belonging I've been longing. I believe it'll be the main motivation at work to keep me moving.

Being in a MNC also made me meet new people from different (meeting new people is one of my favourite pastimes).

~~~~~
Today, the 9th day at Bayer, I was at a start of work meetings spree at the Raffles Convention Centre till next week, incuding colleagues from Germany, Vietnam, Malaysia and another department from Singapore.
Though most of the work flow might not neccessary be that I'll be involved, I kept my eyes open to understand what the "hell" is going on for the all. As I can offer some solutions to help my colleague of somewhat messinesss.
Not surprising I'm able to understand all the corporate means easily. Working as a project manager throughout most of my poly-life helped. Suddenly, I realised all the bullshit I went through, out of most my working life (including poly days and NS days), actually made me more than ready to react and response pro-actively.
Work is never fun, for now I believe. But I always believe responsibilities come first. Only when that is served, fun things will automatically come along the way even when you don't realise it.
True enough, after a whole day of meetings, we all had dinner together, having fun and having a great meal a relatively expensive restaurant at One Fullerton. The main dish was the very tasty CHilli Crab ordered specially for the tastebuds of our overseas colleagues. Every had a cute bib with a nice cartoon crab on it : p
Not to mention I did have great meeting tea-breaks as well as lunch at the convention centre ; )
I Am Uncle Jeff~
A new family member has arrived. My little nephew was born today, weighing 2.895kg. I'm "officially" promoted as an "Uncle".
Suddenly I feel so old and I feel that I shouldn't waste any more of my youth.
Anyway, with a cute chubby face and his plenty of slightly curly crop on his top, I believe this little guy will bring plenty of joy around him, with plenty of people to love him.
He doesn't have a name yet as his Chinese name will have to go through some geomancy calculations. For his Christian name, let's call him "Aragorn" for now, picked by his mother when I suggested the LOTR characters' names, Gimli, Sam, Frodo... Lol.
Now, what shall he be named?
My Little Nephew
By Corrinne May
It's funny how one thing happens and changes your whole point of view
Everything that seems to matter has cast aside for a better truth
You're growing faster with every minute, second, photograph
I wish I could spend more time with you
My little nephew
Everyday a new discovery, I'm a child again looking through your eyes
With every step you're teaching me how to fall and cry, get up and smile
You're growing faster with every minute, second, photograph
I wish I could spend more time with you
My little nephew
But you're far away and I am over here
Memories are lost in these span of years
so, when I go will you miss me?
when I go will you remember me?
You're growing faster with every minute, second, photograph
I wish I could spend more time with you
My little nephew
See you'll learn to tie your shoes
Say the sky is blue
And that your best friend has Winnie the Pooh
