No Mood For Work

Haiz. No mood for work cos' I kanna injusticed and niao by my boss.

A couple of days ago, I designed something nice and he actually liked it but he just took off some pictures which he didn't like. After that he was satisfied. Then when he realised its look exactly the same like the client's own brochure, he blame me for copying!?

Fug you. I didn't even see the brochure in the first place. How can he accuse me like that?! I don't like my work integrity insulted.

Then yesterday, he niao me after seeing me surfing the net for news. Fug you again. I have nothing to do, you can't be expecting me research all the time on the better designs. Can't I take a little break of my mind?

Doubting my dedication at work again. For what fug?

How come I always see him working in and out of his office doing NOTHING and thinking more of his ambitious plans (but none worked out as far as I seen). While my lady boss is working all the way.

Think someone need to reflect himself.

If he's gonna start his egoistic bossing around (even you're the boss, you're not always right) again, I think my resignation letter is always on the standby.

Junk Parade!

All of a sudden, I feel like laying out all my junk collections on the floor, which they are mainly consisting of postcards, brochures and other print publications.

Its actually kind of cool having collected so much junk. Actually I collected them for deisgn research, but after looking at them for a while, I would chuck them a side and somehow day by day, it piled up.

I actually had the idea of pasting all over my room but I hate to destroyed my new nicely wall, so they all piled up at one corner.

Still, its amazing to see them all over my room floor.

Its like doing art.

But another thing I see is that, print ads are sure a waste of paper and environmental unfriendly somewhat.

OMG!!! OH-MEH-GAH!!!

Rough week at work it has been. Somehow in all the stress of the workload and emotions, I managed to stay in control that I don't go crazy.

And somehow I've done 80% of my work which my bosses don't have to worry I can't finish things on time.

My bosses gladly bring me out on an event on the end of the week. And I didn't tell them what I went through for the past few days.

The event was the 50th Anniversary of the Omega Speedmaster. It was a event for the media, the famous and the top-class of people in the society, who are able to buy those timepieces, of course.

I didn't socialise much as I don't really know how to click with most of the people. Maybe I still need time to learn but I wasn't in the mood to socialise that day.

I just drank glasses of champagne into my empty stomach which burns like hell. Met one of my bosses' ex-colleague Alan and he's totally crazy on drinking and made me drink more after I had my beef slices, mashed potato and spaghetti.

I was a bit high. High-class high~

Which made me even more happy to see my idol, Felicia Chin, dressed in beautiful evening gown, when I saw her come in and say "Excuse me", with her lovely sweet smile.

Too bad I didn't have the chance to ask her to take picture with me, even though I'm not exactly dressed up for the even =P

~~~~~
After the Omega event, I headed down to Zouk to club with Vel and her friends Siva and Pamela. And with them, about 20 odd-people of party-goers from Siva's school, which made the dancefloor very happening. Cool.
I danced to de-stress. My stamina didn't really hold as I had a long day. So when I stopped, seeing my so bored, Pamela is really kind to get me to dance with her and Vel doing a "threesome" on the dance floor.
Pamela got all the physiques I like as hot as FRIEND. But too bad she's attached to Siva. Vel says, "Once you go black, you will never go back." Lol. A bit racist, but I guess its the charm of an Indian man, don't you agree? =D
Anyway, nothing really happening after that till one son of a bitch show his dick in front of a woman. If I catch him, I'm gonna make him fug the Heineken pint bottle and I'll ask the offended woman to twist it.
Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder
You don't need a good camera to take beautiful pictures when its already beautiful itself =)
Bangkok. A city of modern chaos embedded with amazing history, the capital of Thailand or, "Free Land", where the King is held most revered and is idolised by his people.
Because it was the kings who modernised Thailand and prevent the nation from being colonised by European powers, and that is why the King is always held in high regard. Every where I see are people wearing his royal colours of yellow in support of his decision to support the coup that ended the career of a controversial prime minister, and in well wishes for his good health.
Royalty is in present everywhere, but if you really want to see what is to be like to be KING in Thailand, make sure you visit the Dusit Palace and the Vimanmek Museam. It shows how grand and powerful this kingdom really was and is now.
The palace is very big. If you really want to see the palace in details, I suggest you get some shades, tan lotion, yoko-yoko and a water bottle for a full day's walk to finish the whole of the palace.
Bangkok is a city of chaos of traffic. Yet it is beautiful with multiple striking colours on its taxi cars, tuk-tuks and taxi bikes. Most people are nice but some are just black sheeps. Since Buddhism is their national religion then I think I'll let karma be the justice.
Be prepare to eat soot on your face when you ride on a tuk-tuk. Bangkok's traffic pollution is one of the "best".
From the first day, I walked all over Bangkok gigantic shopping malls, from Central, to Siam Paragon, to MBK, shopping doesn't seem to end. Even on the streets, stalls and more stalls provide other cheaper alternatives. The weekend Patuchat market is one such example, where trades and buys of all sorts converge.
I am glad Fishball was there by my side all along even though she kept quiet and tired. I rather hope she rest and smile a little more, just like Thailand's Ronald McDonald, looking piang and bright, in red and yellow =D
Night time Bangkok provides food and cuisines all you can find. Spoilt for choices. Sukiyaki is nice. But don't try their food court and Coca restaurant though. Try those in Singapore.
There are also their happening bowling alleys in cool R&B Hip Hop music, and luminous lighting colours, comparable to the night clubbing spots in Singapore. I went there for two nights and I am not sick of it.
For the second night, Bedtime Supper Club was the place to club and though as cool as clubs in Singapore, the drinks rock even more as they don't save up on the alcohol to make people happy and merry. The drinks are thick up to 50% of alcohol in a glass I think. Even a normal Heineken is tasting more smooth than the ones they sell in Singapore.
If I was to make a choice again, I will choose to go. That's what my heart tells me, though sometimes I am outta my mind.
Sing Song, Play Along
Had a tiring day yesterday. Slept immediately after I reach home and I just concussed.
And I don't know why I am getting tired so easily these days. Normally I can hold on till 3am (stil feeling alright) then I sleep.
I was wondering if its because I am putting all my heart and mind into my work, that why?
Anyway, yesterday I didn't really have much work to do yesterday, but I kanna a last minute job task from my boss on a C-Fold cover ad. Without choice, I went to do it anyway, and try to do it with a more complex design, but was stop my boss halfway to do a simpler one.
Even thouh I completed the task peacefully, I seriously think its a bad idea to come up with an ad proposal for client in a such notice of time, and worse, with adequate information about the thing they are going to sell.
If got chance, I should tell my boss about this.
After work,though feeling tired already, I went to meet up June and Alex for KTV. I had wanted to book a K Box room for the KTV session at Paradiaz Centre.
I did try to call and book in the day, but no one picked up even though it rang. Cos' K Box Paradiz Centre branch opened late in the evening or something. Thought it haven't opened yet or something, as it was not the first time I called and it didn't went through.
But upon reaching there with June, we discovered the K Box already closed down for good. Too bad. The place always have available rooms as not many goes there, so we can get rooms easily. But sadly, its also the reason of its downfall.
And some people who say want to KTV one also didn't turn up =(
And so we immediately came up with a contingency plan to head down to the the K Box at Chinatown's Lucky Plaza.
By the time we reached there, its already 8.30pm and we can only sing tilll about midnight. Only for 3 hours before we got chase away =|
But we went to have a chatting session at a nearby coffeeshop till its about 1am plus.
At least June have activity to do other than camping a home, and Alex is able to sing KTV after a long time. For me, I'm just trying to make up the numbers (but sadly, I fail to make more numbers..)
Wah... >.<
I thought yesterday I was going to nua at home play games as I had no plans to go out.
But long time mahjong kaki Rosalind finally invited me to her house with enough "ka" (players) to play mahjong. The other "ka" were Huiyan and a new guy on Ros' mahjong table, Alvin.
Huiyan and I knew Alvin but not Ros. But funnily, Alvin is a suitable candidate as he just leave near Ros' place just across the road.
And so we played.
Sadly, Alvin was on of the top losers.. He jokingly said he was cheated to join this mahjong game. Haha..
But not.. There is the other top loser.. Me lo..
Both of us lost about $30 plus each. Huiyan win till very, very happy.
Damn luck lah. I was winning quite a lot in the first half but buang in the seconf half after dinner.
Oh well, back to work. Don't know what will happen today.
Cos' my work is not really finished as the content resources given to me abit buang lah. I'll have to check with my boss what better things we can work out.
Lightbulbing.
Just came back from Kelly's birthday celebration at Sentosa Beach Resort.
I went there during the afternoon. And somehow, I ended up between their romance as their ultimate lightbulb. I seem to be always their lightbulb here and there. Some of Hong Yun's (Thomas') friends, our common friends were suppose to come but till before I left, not one was in sight..
And so I was the lightbulb..
Went swimming with them for almost the whole afternoon in the beautiful swimming in the resort, a hidden heaven, nicely designed. but I was pretty bored, as I was trying not to disturb the mandarin ducks playing in the waters..
After that its, most of the time in the room watching TV till Soon Wei and his girfriend come.
Where is the sun?; The mandarin ducks in the dark..
I even have to help Hong Yun to be his "backstage crew" to help him light up a round of sparklers on the beach while he went to get Kelly down.. But there were 16 sparklers to light up in that circle, I only managed to light up a quarter round of it, and the sparklers were also burning up too fast, and Kelly also got down too quickly.
When I heard Kelly's voice behind voice behind my back, I knew this whole entire romantic thing thought up up Hong Yun was pretty much a failure (but I hope for him the sincerity counts).
After that Hong Yun gave his final birthday gift to Kelly, I walk up back to the resort room with them while I laugh a bit. Kelly beat me =P
Ah ha ha.. Its just really funny lah the whole plan on how it went.
The Accumulation of History
This is an update of the things I've done this weekend since Thursday.
It seems to me that I'm so busy, that I haven't even update the event happenings on my sis' wedding day on the last weekend. Cos' I'm still waiting for my sis to come back from her honeymoon and past me the photograph done by her wedding day photographer.
Anyway, here's what happened this relaxing weekend other that what has been said for this Saturday:
Thursday evening, I went to meet up with my cute insurance agent friend (as I would describe her), Evon.
I had dinner with her at CityLink Mall's TCC while she passed me my belated pumpkin mooncakes and my life policy certificates.
Along with the certificate and documents, was the nice black leather-like file filing those papers. Then, I was telling Evon that I am going to complain to my ex-agent, Sheryl, who is my weekday online chat buddy during office hours.
What am I going to complain?
Why she gave me a "lok kok" paper file to file my PruCash policy, while Evon can give such a nice file? Lol.
Next day, I did complained. Sheryl said she didn't even knew they had it for her agency. She said her agency quite cheapskate bah.. Lol.
Anyway, I am going to meet Sheryl next week Thursday ^.^
Though I always chat with her online. I haven't seen this tall and also cute agent for a long time liao. And even better I asked Evon to come and join along to mix up our friendships a bit to make it more interesting.
Event ttle: Old agent versus new agent. Wahahahaha!
Anyway, glad I found a trustworthy agent to handle my policies. This one certainly looked she'll be in this line for a long time as she's so enthusiastic all the time!
Last Friday, I went out with Alex and Nadine to The Plush, a new club at ex-MoMo's place after Velvet Dragon.
I was super late meeting them, reaching at 10pm at The Central shopping mall, along with my lunch kaki David. Cos' I just only finished my company gathering on 9.30pm.
Lol. And they thought their meeting were going to be later than mine.
Anyway, we went to get free entry invites from Claudia' brother Caric (Thanks Claudia! Even though you're not there!)
But after going in and walking around The Plush for about only 10 minutes or so, we decide to change to head for MoS as the The Plush's crowd is quite pathetic even with free entry and free flow for its pre-launch.
Anyway, we were at MoS' Smoove for about an hour only. We met Alex's friend Virus, who looked more handsome in his shorter hairstyle. The good man treat us his bottle.
Well, hope to club better next time, with more fun and hype =)
